How to pass the Mississippi knowledge test
- Read the handbook. Every question comes from the official Mississippi manuals; the handbook page links to the agency's own copies.
- Practice test by test. Each numbered test mixes Mississippi law with the national road rules, like the real exam.
- Read every explanation. Especially for answers you got right by guessing.
- Simulate the real exam on the category page when you pass the tests comfortably.

Car. Computerized multiple-choice knowledge exam plus a vision exam. The Driver Service Bureau does not publish the question count or the passing score, so the 30-question, 80 percent format shown here is not confirmed by an official source.
Motorcycle. A motorcycle endorsement requires a computerized motorcycle test and a skills test. Neither the question count nor the passing score is published by the Driver Service Bureau.
CDL. General knowledge test. The 80 percent passing score is the federal minimum in 49 CFR 383.135; the 50-question count follows the AAMVA model manual used by Mississippi and is not published by the state.
